PACKING REQUIREMENTSEXTERIOR-New or like new carton without holes, tears, or paper wrapping. Good appearance with rigid corners and sides.-Pressure sensitive tape or nylon-reinforced plastic tape.-Proper carton strength for weight shipped.INTERIOR-Minimum 2" cushioning between contents and top, bottom and sides of carton.-Cushioning should be placed to absorb compression forces and prevent shifting of contents during transit.-individual items wrapped separately in cushioning.FRAMED ART-Glass should be removed and shipped separately from framed art.-Place in carton with minimum 2" bubble wrap on all sides.-Double box items.-Tape glass if glass is not removed.FRAGILE ITEMSCarvings, ceramics, china, dishes, furniture, glass items, porcelain, pottery, sculptures, statues, trophies, vases & wood art-Individual pieces must be wrapped with minimum 2" of bubble wrap around all sides of item.-Additional bubble wrap must be used to fill empty space.COMPUTERS AND ELECTRONIC ITEMS-Minimum 3" dense molding around each item or 4" bubble wrap around all sides of item.-Additional bubble wrap must be used to fill empty space.PACKAGES WEIGHING MORE THAN 70 POUNDS-Boxes need to be of strong construction. Check the strength of the box by checking the Box Makers Certificate to make sure the size limit and gross weight limit are not exceeded.-Use new boxes whose strength has not been compromised by wear and tear.-Dense cushioning is a must. Peanuts and crumpled paper are not acceptable because they crush and shift under heavy loads. Customized corrugated board or engineered foam enclosures are more suitable and reinforce the rigidity of the outer box.SERVICE EXPLANATIONS-The lesser of repair cost, replacement cost(wholesale, not resale), or declared value of the package shall be reimbursed.-Shipper reserves the right to inspect all packages to ensure proper packaging.-Shipper reserves the right to deny claims resulting from non-compliance of the Packing Requirements.-Shipper will not accept one of a kind or sentimental items.
